The Census and Statistics Department's official top-level industry classification for Hong Kong, published as HSIC Version 2.0. These 21 one-letter sections are the government's own reference scheme.
This is a static government reference list, not the scheme used to tag companies elsewhere on Entio — our industry pages use a separate, much coarser keyword heuristic, since the Companies Registry doesn't publish an HSIC code per company. See our Methodology page
